Information we may collect

- Information you provide about your current software, weighbridge or operational requirements.
- Questions you choose to submit through the website assistant and the answers it generates.
- Correspondence and notes created while responding to an enquiry or discussing a demonstration.
- Basic technical and security information generated when the website is requested, such as IP address, time, browser and server logs.
- Identity information used to protect any secure client area, where that service is available.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, arrange demonstrations, understand requirements and take steps towards a possible business contract. We use technical information to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the website. Our usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and securing a business-to-business software service.
We do not use an enquiry as permission to send unrelated consumer marketing. Any direct marketing will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection and electronic-marketing rules, and you can object or opt out at any time.

Information may be shared with relevant Merlinium Ltd staff, website hosting, artificial-intelligence and IT service providers, professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where required. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it
