When does the carrier mandate begin?
Defra’s current timetable places mandatory Phase 2 reporting for waste collectors, including carriers, in October 2027.
Does Carrier submit to Defra today?
Carrier is being built for the Phase 2 service. Submission will be enabled in line with the Defra rollout and confirmed service scope; it is not described as the current receipt-of-waste service.
Does it replace my accounting system?
Carrier prepares the commercial information from the movement record. The exact accounting or export route depends on the agreed product scope.
